This is amazing!

Dear Friend,

As you know from our email last week Thursday, the White House launched a new feature on their website called "We The People" where every person 13 years and older in the U.S. can now petition the White House on important matters.

Well, it has been 5 days (only 4 days for us as we had Shabbos Kodesh) and we are #3 in the entire USA with nearly 20,000 votes! And we are not far away from the the #2 petition (only about 2500 more votes needed).

See the petition here: http://wh.gov/gWM

But this is not nearly enough -- we must get additional tens of thousand of signatures in order for it to have a proper impact.

BUT WE CAN'T DO IT ALONE! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Rosh Hashana is tomorrow night and this may likely push us down further. We need to do a major campaign to garner enough votes before Rosh Hashana so we can at least stay at the same place till after Rosh Hashana. We will need help after Rosh Hashana as well publicizing this.

And so here is how you can help:

1) Please take this on as your mini-project and email/twitter/facebook all your contacts urging them to sign the petition.

2) Call and email family and friends and remind them personally about the importance of this petition.

3) Get this posted on websites, newsites etc.

4) If you know anyone in the community who has a big email list or big twitter following, please make them aware of the situation with R' Sholom Mordechai and ask them to please join this noble cause.

5) If you are able to organize a place for people who don't have a access to the Internet so they can also take part in this big mitzva that would be a major help and a big z'chus.

Remember every person 13 years and older with a valid email address can vote. Here are the instructions:

1) Visit http://wh.gov/gWM
2) Click "Create An Account" and fill out form
3) Check your email and click link
4) Click "Sign This Petition"

In the z'chus of this may we be merit a happy, healthy and sweet year, a year of redemption for us all!
